Niels Frederik van Tol (b. 1968) grew up in Amsterdam and began to take photography seriously around 2007. After a brief period in commercial work, he shifted his focus in 2011 to a more conceptual approach by embracing analog photography. His work often involves techniques such as long exposure and multiple exposure.
